We also visited the nearby Khurpatal village, which is famous for its handicrafts and traditional arts. Apart from its natural beauty and cultural heritage, Bhimtal also offers a variety of activities for adventure lovers. During our trip, we also went paragliding over the lake and it was truly a thrilling experience. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains were breathtaking. We also went rock climbing and rappelling in the nearby hills, which was a great way to explore the rugged terrain and test our limits. Another highlight of our trip was the delicious local cuisine that we got to taste. The local cuisine is strongly influenced by traditional Kumaoni and Garhwal cuisine, known for its use of locally grown ingredients and traditional cooking methods. We got to taste dishes like Bhatt ki Churkani, Aloo Gutka, and Bal Mithai, which were extremely delicious.
