A Girl Became A Prostitute

Just think how a girl becomes a call girl (prostitute). No girl has a passion to become a call girl, there is a reason for some to become something and some have a hand in it. In today’s generation, a man plays an important role in someone becoming a call girl (prostitute).

Like, when a girl gets married and lives with her husband, if her husband leaves her, then that girl lives in the society but the lustful wolves of the same society attack her. And in the end, the girl who used to dream new dreams in her eyes, breaks her dreams and is ready to sell her body.

This kind of incident is related to a call girl named Geetika. Geetika is the girl who chose the work of call girl prostitution because her husband harassed her a lot and the society of that time did not accept her.

A Girl Became A Prostitute

story of call girl geetika

My name is Geetika. When I was 14, my aunt got me married. I was never happy with this childhood marriage. At a young age, I became the mother of four sons. My husband used to beat me daily. He used to kick and punch me. When I started losing my strength to tolerate the atrocities, I decided to leave him.

One day, I left home with my children and came to Delhi. After reaching Delhi, I worked in a factory for a few days. I was not able to bear the household expenses with this job. Then someone told me about the job of a sex worker. He said that there is good money in this. I immediately left my factory job and joined this profession. Geetika is a sex worker on GB Road in Delhi.

24-year-old Geetika is living here after leaving her husband and parents. She says, ‘This place would be hell for people. For me, I have the freedom to live in the open air. The pleasure of wearing and eating whatever I want. The hope of bearing the expenses of my children’s education.’

I ask- you were working in a factory. Don’t you feel that the decision to leave it was wrong? Geetika said- ‘When I was leaving home and coming to Delhi, one thing was clear in my mind that I will not take beatings from my husband anymore. I will have to clean utensils in a new city with daily abuse. The situation here was contrary to my thinking. I was living in a rented house. The salary was very low. I could not even buy clothes for my children.

Many times we had to sleep hungry. Then I started sex work on my own will. Now I earn at least 25 thousand rupees a month. This money is enough to take care of my family right now.’

If you get a good job, will you leave this work? Geetika says, ‘There is no question of leaving sex work. I have no regrets about doing this work. Even if I want to leave now, the society will not let me live. Anyway, it is the duty of a mother to raise her children. She can take any step to feed them. I am a mother, I am fulfilling my responsibility.

You are 24 years old now. Did you ever think of remarriage after separation from your husband? Geetika, raising both her hands and shaking her fingers, says, ‘Never. I will never think of marriage. I have already told you that my husband made my life hell in my first marriage.’

Even if I think of remarriage, who will guarantee that he will not be worse than my first husband. What will I do if he turns out to be worse than my first husband? I have completely lost faith in men.’

All kinds of men come to this brothel, but Geetika has never had any emotional attachment with anyone. She sees sex work as just a job. She says, ‘I will never have any emotional attachment with anyone now. I do not know what love is and I never want to know.’

She is no longer bothered by what people think about her. She insists that a woman should only depend on herself. Whatever the circumstances, a woman should be able to live on her own. She should earn. She may have to do anything, but should never get beaten up by a man. Torture breaks a woman from within.’

Geetika says, ‘If I had been saved from my husband’s beatings, if my own family members had helped me, then why would I have left the house? There were hands to beat me, but there was no hand to raise me.’

Geetika is now divorced and she does not get any money from her husband to raise the children. She never asked for any kind of help from anyone. She now feels that her life will end in this dark cell.
